Copious apologies for the long time between posting… we blame the UK property system.

Around November last year we stopped posting because we put in an offer on a house and didn’t want to jinx it by talking about it. Thanks to the UK way of doing things it was just a couple of weeks ago that we actually moved into our new place.

So, if you were thinking of visiting - now’s the time. We officially have a place to put you up.

So. We’re now living in a lovely place in South East London, upon which we regularly are making mortgage payments. This is the first place we’ve ever owned together, so it’s altogether very exciting - and it’s a lovely house with a wood just across the road, so we are very happy.

Mick’s work is going very well, and he’s currently working on a project in Wimbledon and doing ridiculously well in terms of time and budget - we think he is possibly the ownly builder in London runniing a project under budget and on time. Similarly, Leisa’s work is keeping her interested and busy. London is treating us both very well.

March saw Leisa spend most of her time in the States, going to a conference in Austin, Texas, followed by a long weekend in New York with Mick, then another conference in Las Vegas.

We have some more travel planned for May including a trip to Ireland for Mick’s birthday (drinking a proper Irish Guiness) and a weekend in Copenhagen. We’re looking forward to Anna coming for a visit in July - and anyone else who manages to make it over our way in the next few months.
At any rate - that’s a very brief update on the past few months. We’ll endeavour to be more attentive in the coming week,s and months. Hope you are all well.
